Vinseth Engineering (Pvt) Ltd commemorated its ten years in operation under the theme “ADMO Ten Years of Excellence” with an all-night pirith ceremony at their factory premises in Homagama. It was attended by retired Army Commander General Daya Rathnayaka who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The event concluded with a gala dinner at Cavalry Officers Mess” in Rock House Army Camp which felicitated the organizations loyal staff.
Vinseth Engineering was founded by its Chairman, Dhammika Bede Cooray and directors Nihal Weerawarna and Sarath Vithanage in 2006 as a supplier of quality Zinc-Aluminium roofing products under the label ADMO. Dhammika Cooray had remarked during the event, “This is a tremendous mile stone for our company. Over the past ten years, we have become a dominant organization in the construction industry, which we hadn’t dreamt of at the inception. We owe our success to the employee-driven teamwork model. Though the construction industry advanced in various ways, our mission remained unchanged. It is to supply a superior roofing product.” He further emphasized, “The last decade has been crucial in building a future beyond the next decade. This success belongs to the dedicated staff of the company and our loyal clientele.”
Over the last decade, Vinseth Engineering had earned multiple recognitions. It has been ranked at the third position with regard to imports of coated sheeting in 2015. Further, it has been accredited with ISO 9001:2000 certification excellent quality and service. In the construction industry, it is recognized with ICTAD C5 and EM-2 grading. Its contribution towards fostering a green environment was recognized with both, the Gold Award for Green Mark Certification by CIOB and Mass Lanka Trade Excellence award.
The most recent statistics on trade imports positions Vinseth Engineering in the third place in terms of coated sheeting imports. It has a network spread across eight branches in Homagama, Nawala, Jethawana Rd, Colombo 14, Hambantota, Nuwara-Eliya, Kurunegala, Galle and Anuradhapura. The expected construction boom prompted Vinseth to acquire a three acre land in Horana BOI Zone, with an ambitious plan to introduce new Zinc-Aluminium roofing products for the next decade and further expand its enterprise.
